What We Offer

chevron light(chevy)

Chevron Light (Chevy) - 7 y/o 15.2hh Registered Bay OTTB gelding - RRP eligible (JC#1005165) Very handsome, young athletic gentleman ready and willing to start his new career. Chevy has been started back into a basic training, and exercise program. He is under saddle and has been working in and out of the arena for the past 90 days. He has the potential to be a very well rounded horse for multiple disciplines. He is very relaxed and well mannered in every way. He is also trail worthy. He is good to clip, load, shoe, stable, leave out with horses, or alone. We have considered from early observation when he came to us, that he could be a fantastic polo prospect. He’s been introduced to the mallet and ball, is an easy hitting platform, and well balanced. He is at the beginning stages of finding his new career so he would either suit a beginner who doesn't want to go too fast too soon and wants to grow and learn with him or, he would suit a competent rider who can get after him to get the best of him. He loads, stands for farrier, no buck, no bite, easy keeper, and up to date on everything. CONTACT: Allen Reynolds, Sunmoon Ranch - 941-685-3962

We believe he would excel in pole bending or barrel racing as he is very agile and light on his feet. He is also a beautiful mover, very flashy and shows great potential for dressage work. He would also do great in halter work as he is very smart, responsive and attentive with his handlers. He has sixty days worth of training, on the ground and under saddle. They called him simply "Yella." "Yella's get have gone on to be named world champions in multiple breeds, such as AQHA, PHBA, APHA, and ABRA," according to The Equine Chronicle. She has excellent ground manners, excels at round pen demonstration work, extremely responsive and does her job well. We have broken down many barriers and she has come a LONG way since coming to us. She will need a confident rider but, would be more suitable as a companion horse until brought further along in her saddle work or, she might make a great barrel horse. She is ridden under saddle, loads, stands for farrier, no buck, no bite and easy keeper.
